Lee Adams has exhibited and performed nationally and internationally,
including group shows at the Tate Gallery, Liverpool Surreal Object
(1988) and Artspace, Sydney Perspecta - the Politics of Everyday Fear
(1999).
![]() Garden of Earthly Delights 1 In 1994 Lee was commissioned to make an installation Body Politic at the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, to accompany the international touring exhibition Positive Lives. His most recent multi-site installation Male Order (Homo Neurotica & Steel Toes) was exhibited at the Mura Clay and TAP Galleries, Sydney and sponsored by the Australian Centre for Photography.
![]() Garden of Earthly Delights 2 His performance career has ranged from The Drunkenness of Semar directed by Heri Dono at FREVD Arts Cafe (commissioned by MOMA2 and the Institute of International Visiting Arts) to radical street drag at Europride Paris (1997) and the Launch of The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival (1999).
